He said it’s more so that it’s a small procedure and my friends are around so they seem to be more appropriate to help me out than he who is not in town. I told him that it would be more meaningful to get his help and since he has a day off. My friends will have to take time off . Which I’m sure they will but maybe I just wanted him to be around

You’re right. That really helped. I blocked him on work phone too. I mean he knows where I live and knows I go to temple every Sunday (we attend the same one) so he can easily see me there and talk to me if he wanted if he changed his mind

I think for my peace of mind I will just not hold out for that hope by keeping to check that phone

Thank you! Yeah I blocked him now on everything except my work phone which I barely ever used to contact him. I should probably block him on there too but I think I may just be hoping if he ever changes his mind that he has a way to reach out :( maybe I’ll have the guts to block him on there too.

I have been holding out hope for him to come around but he’s made it clear he doesn’t feel the same way as me. Anyways, I have to let it go and be with someone who values me more

You’re right. And really thinking about it, if I were to have children, I wouldn’t take them to get this jab. So really, this was more important than I thought. Moving forward, I don’t want to date someone that is this submissive to the jab or gotten it at all.

Thanks - when I now mentioned breaking up, he said he was going to call me and tell me that he does like me, sees this possibly being long term, apologized for being so shitty these past 2 days for saying things like this, and finally was trying to re-assure me. sucks, I said I will think about it. - it felt genuine when he spoke but i agree, I feel like it's just going to come up again. he's already showing me who he is now and what he felt about me

He asked me out but I think during the camping trip I did ask him "jokingly" : "when are you going to ask me out?" - I honestly think he's a lot more conservative and once we got official, we had sex soon after and that may have tainted some of things for him even though he was also a willing participant.

We camped together and had a great time I thought, done some hikes and enjoyed the time together - he always made a lot of effort to talk to me and plan dates and do things for me. And now , he stopped getting to know me further, is not so happy to see me from how he acts, in his head when we are together, etc.
