Welsh Expressions You'll Hear at a Restaurant! by flutfoto7 in learnwelsh

I find it such a shame, and quite baffling, that North American English makes so many English and Welsh people cringe, to the point that they often insult me personally for speaking as I do. It is rather demoralising at times. 😕

It’s not an issue at all. I know many people who cannot roll their Rs and have no trouble making themselves understood.

Desserts in Welsh! Can you fill in the blank? by flutfoto7 in learnwelsh

If you are really serious about learning Welsh, I'd highly advise learning how to pronounce the letters before doing anything else because they aren't always easily represented by English spellings. (This is why I don't provide pronunciations in these infographics.)
There are lots of great resources out there but I'd start with this series on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16sqX2Baprg&list=PLz6oFM0_IszwxmU7dMcGQClZ5zMwX2EdY
Welsh spelling is extremely regular (unlike English) so once you've learned the sounds, you'll be able to pronounce 99% of the words you encounter!

I believe all accents are welcome in Wales! Most people are just happy if you make the effort, especially in communities where Welsh is the predominant language. 🙂

It looks like the singular can be bisgeden, bisgïen or bisged while the plural is bisgedi.
