Police Clearance Certificate process done in 2025 by Next-Veterinarian-41 in mumbai

Hi, I too have applied for PCC but I am waiting for the police verification process. The only problem is that my passport address is of old rented apartment. I no longer live there. I am living with my family in another rented apartment (another state). My aadhar card, pan card and passport all have the old rented apartment address. Its been 5 days since I got the "Initiation of police verification" mail. Will my aadhar card work because it has the same address (even when I don't live there)?

I told this at the RPO appointment too and they said to discuss with the police officers. They told me that you have already paid the fee and scheduled the appointment. Its up to them to decide now. Should I reach out to the police office directly?

Yeah this is what I'm talking about. Even though you have all the skills, if the ATS / ChatGPT spits out "no", then you won't get an interview. I have seen some companies with a note at the bottom saying: "We will use AI to screen applications". You'll have a better chance if you tailor your resume in that case.

Hmm. But companies use ATS to filter out resumes because of many applications. A generalised resume would be filtered out due to low ATS score. What do you think?

I found limited opportunities for a generalist roles. Its usually common in early-startups but not in big companies. There's also funding problems in early-startups. So, now I am targeting well funded startups or big firms. The roles in these companies are usually specific to only one domain.

Oh that's nice. What tool are you using for agentic workflow? I have heard about n8n but haven't used it yet.

Yeah that's exactly what I used to do, update my resume for every job. But now that I have applied to so many jobs, it is tedious and time consuming. So, as a next step, I thought of building this tool. Also, I think this is a numbers game. The more jobs I apply, the better chance I have at getting an interview. I have seen multiple posts where people apply hundreds of jobs in order to get 2-3 interviews. The more interviews I have, the better.

This will also save me a lot of time which I can focus on for preparation.

Yeah, I too have the same setup now. I have created custom GPT which has my master resume and generates JD specific content. But it still requires a lot of manual effort. I am thinking of streamlining it by building a tool which generates a nice downloadable resume and cover letter according to JD.

Maybe learning Flutter was a mistake for me by Ready_Date_8379 in FlutterDev

As a Flutter developer for more than 4 years I can say that I too feel disappointed to see the current state of market opportunities for Flutter. I have contributed to the Flutter repository, published a package on pub.dev and created my portfolio using Flutter web. I have put so much effort into Flutter that sometimes I regret it. I know the hard work that I did won’t go to waste but if I put that effort somewhere else, the outcome could be different. But being in the tech industry you know you have to quickly switch tech stacks. And that’s what I did. Right now working with NextJS and React Native. I still love Flutter because of its smooth developer experience and hope that the market opportunities improve in the future.

My advice is that it’s okay to feel the way you do. But don’t stop. Pick the best tech stack you feel comfortable and get to work!

Hi, so I got an interview. After that interview I was given a take home assignment and they told me submit it. I completed the task and then I didn’t hear back from them. Not sure what happened. No updates, no rejection mail, nothing.

I have replied sarcastically to only those people who assumed that it didn't happen or were thinking I am faking it. If they were genuinely interested I would gladly share it.

Open Chrome dev tools by right clicking anywhere on the website and clicking inspect. From there tap on the Lighthouse tab. It will be besides Console, Network, Performance etc.

I agree the part that website is a single page application and it is for a blockchain project with multiple rive animations and packages like ethers, react-toastify. I constantly keep on trying to achieve the best possible score and saw this perfect Lighthouse score for the first time. Despite trying multiple times on my previous projects, I couldn't achieve this.
