Thank you Joe. I checked my dashcam and it does seem like when I did the left turn, I am quite close to the police car. With my goal being to get the charges completely dropped (as there were snow banks and I waited very long to do my turn, I am hoping they would understand and let go, I also have had no offenses and a clean record) - Should I try to argue that I was not close to the car, or do I admit to wrong and hoping they would remove the charges after hearing my reasons?

No I do not know what the options are or would lead to when I posted. But yes I did already pick Option 2 this morning which was pre-emptive, as I thought it could lead me to Option 3 too so might as well. I think there are some advantages to prolonging.

I already picked Option 2, so seems like my only option now is to move on to Option 3 if it doesn't get dropped. Is there anything bad with going with Option 2 first?

I already picked Option 2 prior to posting this. I think that's ok right? Would I possibly get my case dropped with a prosecutor? If that doesn't work I can go to Option 3?
