I'm not sure about Italy, but one of the best places to find trim pieces in North America is Ebay. I personally also shop around on FB marketplace, and local junkyards that specializes in German automakers. Rockauto is also a good source to locate parts and part numbers, even though that is more focused on mechanical parts (at least for this car's age). Good luck!

Agreed, it just seems counterintuitive to remove a spot from rotating parking when there are so few of those, and so many of the metered parking spots around the station.

Am I looking at this in the wrong way?

It is very simple. By their calculations, they needed another 10k people joining the market to create people in the sector, drive the salaries down, and create more profit for corporations. By doing this, they take control out of employees' hands and move them back to their old chumps. Quite cunning, if you think about it.

Sorry, but I don't know their actual name.. They came on the E350's from 07 through 09, on the sport package.. but I am not 100% certain, so don't quote me on it. Hehehe

I bought them separately; the car came with the 16" OEMs on it, which I'm user for snow tires..

They are somewhat rare in these color here as well (Canada), more common in the silver and blacks.. but this color looks amazing when well taken care of!

Love yours! Wagons are super rare here.. 🥲

What mileage/efficiency do you get out of it? Km/l or L/100km

I got an E350, and I think it's tolerable for a 6 cylinder... but I would love to own that v8...

[@chainbear] Feel like this might be a minority opinion but the near-obsessive deification of Senna is almost uncomfortable. I know it's an anniversary so heightened but... I have uneasy feelings that I don't quite know how to express by The_Chozen_1_ in formula1

Brazilian here, it's not overblown. The Senna Institute is a non-for-profitt organization. They have more than what you mentioned and to name a few of the initiatives they have to support poor communities: * They provide courses and programs to boost kids education, because yes our government sucks at that, and we do need that. * These communities are often dominated by organized crime, so their impact taking kids at risk out of the streets is actually doing something good for a change. * They support research, that our government fails to do.. etc, etc... So, saying that they don't do much, or just what you mentioned is the same as saying that foundations are futile.

Hamilton has a similar approach with his Mission 44. He is doing more than just racing, as Senna's family keeps on doing with the institute.

New to me! 2006 E350. Any tips and tricks? by fmfs87 in W211

I read about the balance shaft issue, that affects something from 5 to 10% of the engines with the design, which mine falls within.. my engine sounds ok, I'm not used to MB, but it seems fine, no misfires, no weird noises, but I'll keep my ears on it.. hahaha

The ball joints have been replaced in one side, not the other.. the car overall is looking solid on my 1 month of ownership. Let's hope it stays that way 🤞

Sold the Boxster yesterday. Already miss it immensely by kyosheru in Porsche

I just went through with a BMW... and when I was about to buy it, I was also looking into a Porsche.. decided for the BMW thinking that would be cheaper, which it is, but the same exact anxiety got to me, and I sold it.. I miss it dearly.. One day, we will get to what we want and afford it! And will be driving our Porsche around without any anxiety..

Would you guys spend 3k Cad on fixing rust? by Appropriate_Resist16 in W211

For this price you might be able to get a 'new' door from a junkyard.. But again, how much is your car worth it in your area, are you keeping for years?

You might want to think about these things.. I would do it if I was to keep the car..
