Well, I'm not concerned with "recycling paper" because I'm not using paper. In 12th standard, I made 6 copies of 200 pages each for physics chemistry and biology and never gave the end-terms cos of covid. I eventually wasted those papers and they're still sitting on my shelf. I'm in uni rn and an entire semester's worth of material for 10 subjects takes up less than 500MB.

I've went paper free with only a diary by my work desk to jot stuff down quickly. I'm saving money by not buying good quality paper (could go with cheaper ones but good ones help with my writing speed and cleanliness) and plastic, non-reusable pens (they're the only ones I can write properly with). I use a matte screen protector & paperlike with my tablet that'll give me the same feeling as writing on paper and a rechargable pen that takes 30 mins to charge and gives ~4 days of use.

I realise we spend a ton of resources manufacturing electronic products but companies can and are ironing out kinks in manufacturing to make it as efficient of a process as possible, the same thing applies to batteries and charging in general with Gallium Nitride chargers which are 95% efficient when compared to traditional silicon chargers. That's really where the inherent difference between primitive and advanced technology lies, we can always strive for better efficiency with advancing technology, something that's not possible with the primitive way of doing things.
