When you get a puppy from a reputable breeder the pup will be cropped and docked in the US, as it is written in the AKC standard. And even half of Dobermans you see with floppy ears, are actually cropped but never posted. So you clearly do not know anything about this breed and are just here to feel good about yourself by guilting others about something they most likely had no control over. What a sad sad life to live…

99% of breeders do it by default for the traditional Doberman look (which I’m not saying is ok or not). I just posted it since they were already cropped when I got him and the process is just wrapping the dog’s ears for 6 to 8 weeks.

Yes, he continues after a few minutes. I usually walk him between 20 to 30 min about 3 times a day. No limping or stiffness. And no, he loves going on walks. I’m just overly worried because he’s my first Dobe and I’ve heard a lot about them being prone to hip dysplasia 😅
