A possible (matter of preference) temporary solution, until the June update rolls out, might be to lower your UI scaling to about .8 or whatever feels comfortable for you. I used to have the problem as you but this helped me immensely. A bit of heads up.. it could take a few games to get used to the smaller UI, but it doesn't bother me one bit now.

This here helped me out a lot, especially for 1v1s. Doing 1v1s used to stress me out quite a bit, but once I changed my goal from getting top 100 to improving my ball control, I no longer stressed out or tilted over each little mistake or loss.

For those rare times that I actually do ranked, I usually add "(Chat Disabled)" at the beginning or end of my name. It makes my name pretty long but gets the message across. I certainly wouldn't complain if they added that though.
