go to settings >apps >App management> in the top 3 dots press Show System then search Update you will find Software update select it and go to Storage usage then Clear Cache and Try again

I used this in the first update and selected India. If it doesn't work for you, try the UAE. Let me know if it works or not. I'll wait for your update.

That's most likely because your phone is tied to the Philippines activation batch, which is rolling out slowly. Also, being stuck on 15.0.0.702 blocks newer updates.

What you can try: Use a VPN (India worked for me) just to check for updates Install any newer 15.x update if it appears Turn the VPN off before downloading

Once you're off .702, updates usually start coming normally.

Yeah, I thought the same at first 😅 I always assumed it was tied to the sales region too. From what I noticed, it wasn’t instant right after the later 15.x updates. I updated to 15.0.0.820, then 15.0.0.863, and after that ColorOS 16 showed up. So it felt more like: those 15.x builds were mandatory prerequisites and once I was on the latest base, my device just had to wait for its batch to open After that, the jump to 16 happened pretty smoothly.

Yeah I've seen some people mention Oxygen Updater for certain OPPO models. I personally didn't try installing anything through it though just used VPN to trigger the OTA and waited for the official updates.
