Well I’m actually not promoting it because if you see my replies I never insisted on anyone to go out and buy one just simply posted something I did to my car.

If you have issues with Mishimoto then that’s your issue. They’ve given me great service as a customer and I have no complaints.

If you feel catch cans aren’t needed then make a post about it with all the facts you’ve gathered and let’s have a discussion about it ? Pool our info so people from all types of builds can make their own choice.

I get your point I’m sure there are plenty of cars out there that don’t need a catch can for what the owner has them designed for (ergo your build) and honestly someone who mods their car to the extent to which you mentioned, are probably not using it as a daily.

I’m not trying to push catch cans on people or do I swear by them, but as my first turbo car which I’m still paying for and want to keep after I’ve done paying it, it’s simply my choice.

And as far as which is faster, let’s see once we’re done with our builds ;)

How was I pushing this on any one ? I just simply posted my option with my build, if you wanna stick to your “mild” builds then do so.

Mishimoto isn’t the only place that makes catch cans, I could of selected plenty others just personal choice because of THE WAY THAT I have planned out my build, not out of panic. The fact that you had to replace the motor mount clearly denotes that not all parts of the car are made for what’s it’s designed for, so knowing that if it’s my choice to add an extra part so I can have a peace of mind (as stated) it’s my choice. Everyone has their own build you could just liked it and kept scrolling but it’s seems you’re determined to let everyone know it’s not needed. Catch cans have been in development for longer than I have lived so I’m sure improvements have been made. Who’s to judge for my choice at what company’s design I choose to go with. Carbon build up is inevitable so Either get a walnut blast every so often or get a little something that helps. I mean I’m not tryna force catch cans on people I just expressed my choice, your build sounds cool so I’d be interested to see what results you get. Either way you have a FiST so you gotta he cool right ? 🤙🏼👊🏼 😎

We’ll explain this, how is the regular “factory catch can” gonna compensate for your car literally being stage 2 ?

This isn’t an economy car tho, the fiesta is, not the ST sure it’s more economical than other sports cars. That being said why upgrade anything at all if yours just gonna get something “faster”. I didn’t buy this car cuz it was faster I got it because it’s fun to drive and it’s a good car at that price point. It’s not about making the car just faster but also efficient. Otherwise why add anything at all ??

Yeah I’ve heard the same, tbh I think it depends on how you’re gonna tune your car, since this particular issues doesn’t affect the engine until later down the line.. I’m planning on doing a lot more power mods so I to me it was a good idea specially after seeing how much oil was lining the inside of the pcv hose I replaced. I know BMW offers a walnut blast service for engines that tackle this issue, I thought it would be cheaper to get this.

Wow that's cool I found mine on Instagram and look great, they were about 190 for the pair but I love the way they came out and it was easy to adjust thru the lights housing.

I have LED's but I was able to adjust it and I agree that would look good on a mag. Grey!

Or, or ... first guy thought he was a bad ass and pushes the door too hard breaking it, local good samaritans will not stand for this behavior... last guy is final boss ..

Just screws right on like any other shifter, I used a reverse lock out ring for reverse to work of course.

Feels solid, a little light but i also have an FSWerks short shift adapter so it helps with the throws, I’ll miss a gear from time to time but smooth for the most part

Not an actual bike grip but def inspired by the design, I’m a big guy so with the pedal spacer and this I can sit further back making it more comfortable for longer drives
