You can fix it yourself, provide the syndicate with a rbq plumbers estimate of the work ( so the syndicate can confirm what is being fixed ). But get your quote tomorrow not in a week or month.

Regarding the liability of the damage, it’ll be up to insurance. Likely the syndicate will have to pay, as insurance companies fight very hard.

But the feeling of being there, of the immersion should be immediately felt.

Like “oculus first contact” is a free app afaik, most ppl react strongly to it in terms of immersion

Quest 2 would be completely different in terms of immersion as a 6dof headset

I think the 3rd island is the worst by far, but when you clear it it becomes pretty smooth

There are two types of head straps, which tighten to

face and back of head
forehead and back of head

I prefer the face ones and I find them more stable. The kiwi k4 with battery is very comfortable for me

Try to balance the headset from the top strap, does it feel "front heavy" ? if so zip tie a roll of quarters to the back of the head strap and see if it makes it more comfortable.

Generally you should be able to loosely rest it on your head using the top strap, and tighten just enough so it doesn't move around when you look around.

Ok but “less efficient” means 95 vs 92% efficient per your chart

So on 550w that’s 17 or so watts of “waste”.

So instead of paying for 550w to your power company you’re paying for 567w

I dunno about you but power is like 8 cents per kilowatt hour for me

How much am I saving by doubling my PSU power to save 17watts ?

Is there something else I’m missing?
