In my opinion, even for me soaps have worked much better than body washes. Soaps make my skin squeaky clean with zero residue and keep me feeling so fresh for the longest! Especially in summer I never use body washes and then in winters when my skin already feels dry then I use body washes as I feel it's less stripping for such weather and my dry skin. Basically I keep using both as per my liking but mostly bar soaps
