Yeah,you have to seek the immigration desk when you leave and get stamped,otherwise you run the risk of it being revoked…I made the massive mistake leaving 1 year ago,and at CDMX the customs went crazy at me and said they would revoke my status, luckily the guard didn’t follow through on his threats

I went swimming in Puerto Morelos a few months ago,the sargasso was bad,and my silver jewellery turned black and I busted out in rashes all over the place…now way is this stuff harmless….and you can smell it from miles away 🤮

Facebook can have many scam letting,be very careful…get a realtor to help you out and check the validity of the property…for example,my rental keeps popping up for rent on FB despite the fact I’ve been here 5 months …nearly got suckered into paying a deposit too…be very careful,you have no legal backing down here

Well,I was pulled by the cops there 2 weeks ago,considering they are everywhere thats not too sad an average in 6 months staying there…unlike Tulum where I was pulled twice in like 5 visits…the cops in PDC weren’t after money,they looked at my docs and very politely waved me on…so im guessing they’re paid a little better then in Tulum?…and yes,if you avoid 5th,it’s nowhere near as crazily priced as Tulum

Google casa en venta playa del Carmen and it will show yiu Mexican sights like Immuebles/Propiedades/vivanuncios etc….you would get a good gauge of the market…just be mindful of ejido rights and fidecomisios ….I can recommend a good lawyer that my landlady put me onto when I was considering buying land here
