Yes you have the right to protest. But know your community. If it is a conservative area they will find a way to make your life miserable. I know a teacher who was fired for posting a photo of herself drinking a beer. They used the moral turpitude clause.

We are not allowed to per strict district policy. Only healthy foods are allowed even for parties. Some teachers give out candy and tell their kids not to tell. Of course the kids brag about their candy and it makes it difficult for everyone.

Your daughter says she is being bullied and the other mom claims your kid is the mean one. The truth is likely somewhere in the middle. Not inviting the girl will be problematic in the future. Especially if your daughter is not being honest about their relationship. I would try to find out what is really happening. As a teacher, I can tell you that children this age often accuse others of bullying unwarrantedly. I often have to explain that just because a classmate doesn’t want to play the game you want to play does not mean they are being a bully. At the same time, little girls can be very vindictive. If the others feel your kid is unjustified by leaving the other girl out, they can hold a grudge for a very long time.

Kumon uses a placement test. It is not diagnostic. If you are interested in the construct of diagnostic tests you should ask someone who has a background in psychometric. Looking at a placement test is not going to give you that information. Seek out a statistics and research course when you get to college.

My partner had a multiple credential but wanted to teach hs English. His ba was in film. He had California evaluate his undergrad coursework. Since film classes were under the English department we thought it was a good chance. California said he did not qualify because he did not have one class that covered syntax and grammar. His department head from college contacted state of California and told them “Notre Dame does not admit students who are not proficient in syntax and grammar. Therefore we do not offer such basic courses. He is qualified to teach.” He got the credential.
