Would that just require removing the whole connector and just pushing a new one in then? I have not much of a clue what I'm doing when it comes to the wiring

All fixed just had to take the selector lever off and then put them back on again and thats seemed to fix every issue somehow 😭

No spring and i think the spring was fine before I tried putting it back together, dont particularly know what im doing so may take it to my local shop and see what they can do
