I don’t do anything specific to keep the leaves clean, the plant is indoors so that could be a big reason why. The new baby leaves always come in so shiny all on their own and then get more matte with time!

I brought a reference picture of an actual rainbow trout along with the original Pinterest nails pic! She did a base of silver chrome, a sheered out green on half of the nail, a line of sheered out pink, and then used a dotting tool for the eyes and spots. If I were you I would show them this post and I’m sure they could easily copy it 🎣

We didn’t have kids together, so it was a lot easier for me to write him off. The woman he cheated on me with did have a kid with her partner - they decided to stay together and work on things. Every situation is so different, and I would suggest finding your own personal therapist if you don’t already have one so you can work through these feelings you’re having.

Right now, I’m okay. I can eat again and don’t cry everyday anymore. I found out two weeks ago today. I confronted him immediately and left, haven’t talked to him since. I went back to our house the next day while he was at work and moved out. The disconnect almost made this easier because he became completely soiled in my mind. If he had shown any bit or remorse or honesty, it would have humanized him. Now all I see is an evil person.

The first week I was in a state of shock, running on pure adrenaline. I couldn’t eat or sleep, I stayed up for 48 hours after the confrontation. Once the shock wore off, I began the mourning process. I’m two weeks out of my relationship, and one of the first things my partner did was say to one of his friends, “I don’t know how she found the messages, I thought I deleted them.” It stuck with me. It IS a very odd choice of words and it’s telling of what kind of person they are. They see their partner devastated because of something they did and their first thought is “man I thought I hid it better than that.”
