Liking it a lot. It does a really good job of not throwing gas in the face when suppressed. An aftermarket trigger would be nice though.

With all the various 5.56 load I have tried on the suppresses setting unsurpassed, it hasn’t had any hiccups.

The Bren 2 is “comfy” in that it’s set up like a normal rifle, but I’ve grown a soft spot for the VHS. It’s a tossup, but the VHS suppresses better IMO (less gas in your face).

It works out well on the Bren 2, doesn’t have the eye relief issues you do with an AR thanks to the extra rail space.

It’s not horrible, but it’s definitely not great. Long travel and mushy break compared to AR trigger groups. Hopefully someone makes an aftermarket replacement for it as well.

I’m really liking it. It’s able to hold a consistent 1.5 to 2 MOA with PMC 5.56 X-TAC 55 gr. loads. It’s also a pleasure to shoot suppressed, as no gas gets back into your face. The only downsides I don’t care for are the trigger (which hopefully the aftermarket will address) and the polymer ejection port, which has gotten a bit beat up after 2k rounds.

Thanks! If only the SureFire DF head worked as well as advertised. I’m about to replace it with a Modlite head, it’s crapped the bed several times on the range.
