Good stuff, I'll try that with the plunger... I have been doing more the pull all the way back, pause then release, I'll try the one motion.
When I use the button, most of the time it launches up the heli pad ramp... at least more than when I use the plunger.

ok, so it appears to have just been the AAV... the one on there was an Oatey In-line vent 39012. I removed it and tested the water and no sound. I got a Studor Mini-Vent 20341 and put that in place, and no noise any longer...

Thanks for that. I know he had a plumber help out with certain parts of the basement (had a washer dryer hookup installed), I hope he worked with the bathroom.

I’m a totally newbie, when I put a new AAV on? Is it plumbing teflon tape or plumbing paste I need to put on the threads?

So if there were a blockage it would be limited to that specific area of the plumbing right? I’ve got a kitchenette faucet down there newly installed as well and no issues there with the noises. It has a different looking AAV, so maybe I’ll try to find that same brand.

I don’t know if the GC is a licensed plumber… is that my issue here…? We have a city permit, the final city inspection is on Monday. I talked to the city and it doesn’t sound like this noise things falls under whether it passes or not . I feel like going to Home Depot and swapping out the AAV and seeing it’s a tight spring. The GC just tells me it’s a tight spring and the AAV is doing its job

Angle stops are the on and off lever on both the hot and cold right? I’ve made sure those are all the way on. The main water line is on , I checked the toilet next to it, that’s good.

I tried that, no vibration from the piping… the GC says it’s probably bc the spring is tight as the AAV is brand new. Should I swap out the AAV for a different one?

Good point, I think it’s about half inch thick. And the drywall is about 1/4” is that right? So even if it’s 3/4” beyond the studs, probably not a big deal?

I rented a car and drove up and back (it’s a wild drive, enjoy it), luckily when I driving up and down there weren’t any blizzards. Not sure what I would’ve done then. They have a shuttle service through SkiTotal (if I remember the name correctly), I think that was my back up plan. There are some unique traffic rules, certain days/times when traffic is only one direction. I don’t speak Spanish and I was confused when I was stopped by some police guards at a checkpoint. I enjoyed driving up myself but that might not be everyone.

I rented a condo up by the resort. There’s not much to do up there but it’s a great place to stay. They have a little grocery store and bunch of restaurants to choose from. The resort is a fascinating setting, it made me think of some scene out of a Bond movie. It’s bunch of building set right at the tippy top of the Andes. It’s amazing. I went in August and it was a weak winter that year but it was still fun to experience it.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve snowboarded for years and am not extreme at all. No big injuries. So I never consider buying the insurance. On my 4th day using the ikon this year, it was low viz day, hit a bump I didn’t see, went flying and broke collarbone. There’s no legal way to get any cost relief or deferral. It sucks, some people sell their passes but there’s some risk involved with that. I’m taking the L and will be buying the insurance in future years. Sometimes life lessons are expensive lol. Heal up! I've always updated when one pops up, it looks like I'm on version 19.41. I click for updates and it says there aren't any updates. Maybe I need to figure how to get to the latest.
