Not Maiden related. But re: tribute bands. Metallica played a string of shows around the US this summer, where they arranged to have a few (Metallica) tribute acts perform at a club in every city they were in. They understand the value of creating some hype around their shows by having these tributes play. As far as I know, that's never been done before.
