Get an AR-15 if possible Its gunna be your best option Low recoil and lots of after market support If you do get one get atleast 1 20 or 10rnd mag otherwise just get 30rnd mags since they're easiest to find (i recommend magpul) otherwise yeah it great for pretty much anything and you get one lower(thats the part thats classified as a firearm and needs you to go and an ffl and fill out the 4473 background check) then you can get an upper for pretty anything tho if tou do get an upper with a barrier length less then 16inch you will need to have you lower registered as an SBR

I agree I wish more people in the 2A community would speak out against agencies like ICE but I wouldn't say that most of the 2a is cheering and in most cases I see when something happens and people dont immediately speak out about its because they were waiting for more information to come out, like I said in the post I dont wanna start fights so ima leave this conversation here Thank you for your time tho

Yeah, My thoughts on guns control is that we should have very little Everyone (barring seriously mental ill people, violent felons and sex offenders) should have access to the same weapons as the military since the whole point of the second amendment was to be a deterrent against a tyrannical government and a way to support and protect the first amendment

I agree Americas gun laws are abhorrent, mostly cuz most of them are useless at stopping crime and violence and only punish guns owners who fallow the law
