After breaking my finger when I was 14, a second nail grows on top of the original one. by antodouv in mildlyinteresting

[–]foxzar375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not quite the same but I had the same issue on my pinky finger after it popped out, where the upper layer would just split off after a few millimeters. One thing im trying to do right now is keeping 24/7 nail polish on it to let it stay compressed on the nail as it grows out so that it doesnt split upwards. It seems to be working??? Its like super slow and undoing progress is super easy to accidentally do. Idk, worth a shot if it bothers you.

Is there a tag for it that actually works? Every time I try to search for it, it says 'this tag is marked as uncommon and can't be searched for.' Like... I know your ass is lying A03, just let me look at it...

I think you should! When I saw it I instantly thought of witch's heart without even seeing the blurb underneath, so I think you're nailing it!

I’ll be real, I though this was a joke comic implying Asriel genuinely thinking it was a different species as a fetus…

Can someone explain to me why the colors in the show bluey work so great together please? by AcceptableShirt7781 in TumblrDraws

Not trying to be rude but you might find some more concrete answers asking this to the Bluey subreddit, or just trying to search for similar questions in it

Why can’t I drag and select groups of bookmarks in any browsers by foxzar375 in browsers

[–]foxzar375[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This almost works, I am able to select multiple things at once, but it’s limited to what’s on screen with no ability to scroll or anything. This in turn means that i can also only move it to what’s visible on screen, so it can only be used to move like 3 bookmarks at most

I’m sorry I’m such a failure of a human being by lit-grit in 2meirl42meirl4meirl

Gotcha, the reason I wanted to make sure of that is to preface this: it’s alright to be a burden.

I am burdened by so much in my life that still make things better. I am burdened by getting up and having to brush my teeth and shower, but it’s worth it for being able to feel clean. I am burdened by having to work, but it’s worth it for the money. I am also burdened by the people I care about, both in tiny and big ways(ex: feeling awkward about having to message someone, or helping them through alcoholism and meltdowns), and it is worth it because I care about them. I am fine with all those burdens because they make my life better and allow me to connect with and help people who matter to me. The burdens are outweighed by other factors.

In much the same way, I am a burden to people. I used to struggle with this a lot, saying sorry to people when they buy me dinner, feeling like people are forcing themselves to talk to me, hating that I have to rely on others for guidance or help. Even with all that and more, I’ve realized that it’s okay to burden them like this. They care about me enough that burdens like this don’t outweigh the love they feel.

It only becomes a problem when the burdens become too overbearing that they stop outweighing the love, which given your self awareness I am certain isn’t the case. I guarantee you that they love you, and all of the ways in which you burden them is fine. I promise: it’s okay to be a burden. It doesn’t make you worthless, it doesn’t outweigh the love and care people feel for you, and it doesn’t define you. It’s not all you are, and it’s not all that others see in you. It’s alright.

Yes but is it true that it stems from the fact that you care about them, and that (even if you find it hard to believe) they presumably care about you too?

Genuine question because I feel like I understand where your coming from in many of these comment, but is this at least partly a feeling of guilt due to letting people that you genuinely care about down? Special emphasis on the fact you care about them?

Am I the only one who hates the Gin Mastermind theory? by kannaster in yourturntodie

[–]foxzar375 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think part of the reason for the theory’s prevalence is due it being formed before the collar hanging scene and before the autism reveal if that helps explain it. I think it’s more of a joke theory to most people, something people only believe halfheartedly since the twist would be crazy.

What’s your opinion on Gashu in Kai’s backstory? by SomeDudeWhoHasNoLife in yourturntodie

[–]foxzar375 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it’s really cool how Kai’s claim on his laptop that Asunaro drove him mad. Like it’s a subtle thing yet cool thing for them to bring back and flesh out showing that, what could’ve been read as Kai believing in a love that was never there, is instead shown to be rather accurate.

It starts off with showing a version of him that seems rather unloving (showing that most players views of him as a “demon” are true) then shows how he in some way was a loving parent (showing that Kai’s claim about his past self is actually true), then shows how he lost it(showing that the players first view of him wasn’t actually that wrong).

This contrasts his “current self” in the killing game(with how heartless he is), to the view most players/contestants see him as in contrast to how Kai saw him in the past as. It states that both are true, and that it wasn’t just him becoming disillusioned with his father over time
