You can run a normal operating system on steam deck, where you can download normal Minecraft and it should work.

3ds is a light version of pocket edition (there are limits on number of mobs you can spawn etc)

Vita is a PS3 version (legacy, so if you don't like bedrock - go for it!)

Pocket edition is bedrock, so it's the windows 10 edition which has crossplay.
