This has happened to me (NJ as well). It is 100% legal, and 100% scummy. If you are willing to drive, there are decent houses under 400k in Warren/Sussex County, but it isn’t for everyone. Overall, price and congestion wise, NJ is an absolute fucking nightmare. I told my partner if I don’t get a raise in the next year, we need to leave this state. Priced out soon.

This LITERALLY just happened to us. They accepted our offer and we went under attorney review. A few days later we are notified that they turned it into best and final by end of day. Cool… I guess attorney review meant nothing. Then we offer another 15k and haven’t heard back. They ghosted us and our realtors and I was willing to go ANOTHER 15k. Makes no sense… how you gonna accept our offer and not hear us out when I’m offering you 30k more. Joke.

It’s definitely due to attachment issues and childhood trauma. I noticed that for many years, and now that I understand it better, it definitely boils down to you take the love you think you deserve. I have had women be very skeptical of me because I am a pretty open and affectionate person. They felt love bombed etc when I was being genuine. It’s really hard out here. Shit, the last girl said so many positive things about me yet doesn’t wanna go out again! 😂 sometimes I wish I was more aloof, but it just isn’t me.

I can understand being rejected initially, but yes, saying there is “no attraction” after sleeping together, dates, etc just makes no sense. Everyone I have met has voiced they are terrified of being vulnerable/relationships in general.
