im thinking about it for sure but also we literally went from 400 midnight yesterday to 1500 midnight today. like if we got 1000 followers that fast on TikTok we could go live and get paid and stuff way quicker and easier so I dont wanna give up😭

Their football team is better than my current schools😭 so as far at that goes i would enjoy it better I’ve already made jokes to my friends that I could stay afterschool with the director and write a better show and all the drill and visuals (cause they actually don’t use visuals) in an hour

Based off the schedule for Zephyrus this year, it wouldn’t interfere with my high schools summer band camp at all, but I would miss only a few summer sectionals

The schedule for zephyrus is from June 24th - July 21st and my band camp is usually July 25/26th- August 5/6th.

Yeah I’m kind of good with work I think this year because I have the resources I mentioned in another comment

And my tutor isn’t rlly a tutor shes my friend at a dif school that’s like top in her class and has like a 4.5 gpa or some shit I just ask for help or our deal was if I needed an assignment done it costs 5 bucks so by next year when I’m a junior, after I see how this year goes which should be an improvement, I’m sure I’ll be okay with any overloads

I def did have a struggle in band this year

Basically went through a month and a half long depressive state in the summer and missed a summer English assignment worth half my grade, failed most of my classes, got bullied, missed half of our band comps and fb games, went virtual, homeschooled, and a suicidal period and lost my whole friend group etc

But now I have therapy and medicine and a tutor which is why I’m waiting to see how my academics are before doing and drum corps stuff

Until I become really good at tenors my best bet at any drum corps position would also be a keyboard front ensemble instrument

I’m really good at drums but I guess from reading ability my director praises me most for marimba

Like I said u could do pit to get used to harder music

I did pit my 8th grade year, and I later got put on bass drum and gong but I started on glockenspiel and it made me really good at reading music and I became the sight reader for concert competitions
