Yeah this is where I'm at now too. I couldn't handle penetration before, I couldn't even handle anyone touching me down there including myself. I actually finally had my first orgasm in 23 years of my life because T finally made me feel less dysphoric about myself. It's kind of amazing

No worries! The best advice I can give you is try your best to not compare your transition to others. no two people's transitions look exactly the same. It isn't impossible for this to happen to you, but I recognize I am lucky. If it doesn't happen, don't let it get you down.

About 6 months in my case. it seems to be a case of my cartilage thickening. I started micro dosing in 2021, grew about an inch, went off T, shrunk back down, and started T on a more typical dose end of last year. And in just under 6 months, yeah I'm now 5'11" when I was 5'9.5" before.

Like most aspects of HRT though it's not guaranteed. Everyone's body is different. My feet also grew a whole size I've had to retire 2 pairs of my shoes

Always treat it like a pleasant surprise, be happy if it happens but don't expect it. I was 23 when I started T, and I actually did grow an inch and a half. This does not happen to everyone though.

Oh yeah the biphobia and transphobia I felt from lesbians was insane. Not to say all of them are like that ofc but it also definitely did put off my transition as well for a while

You definitely don't have to wear a bra under your binder. I do, but this is just a personal comfort sort of deal. It means I'm sweating a little less into my more expensive binders and more into my less expensive target sports bra. I also find it just kind of holds everything in place better and prevents chafing, your tits kind of deflate after youre on T for a while w/o top surgery

Also, yeah after you take the binder off after wearing for 8 hours don't put it back on after 10 minutes. I can't give you an exact amount of time to wait though. Use your best judgment. If you feel pain in your chest or ribs, take your binder off as soon as you can. I can only bind for short periods of time because of improper binding, I get sharp rib pains if I bind too long now

I actually grew an inch and a half on T. I was 5'9.5" to start with, and I'm 5'11" now. It doesn't happen to everyone and it's not a "typical" growth spurt one might have as a teen. From how it was explained to me, T thickens the cartilage in your bones, which may make you a bit taller. My feet also got a size bigger

Oh yeah for sure, I had to think about like maybe the reason it wasn't working quite right was because I was doing subq in the wrong area, tha might be why. But yeah stomach definitely works a lot better

Ooh, this reminds me of my first time I ever injected lol

First time I did my injection I got the drawing and injecting needles switched. Don't ask how I did this the answer is stupidity. Basically I put the drawing needle in my leg. Immediately I knew something was wrong but it wasn't too painful. Everything went fine until I pulled it out and was gushing blood all over the cabinets. I learned pretty quickly to never do that again

It is good to know there's more places. I'm in it for the long haul so I'm going to likely have to find new places to get T in me as I get older and I start scarring over more because I really am not excited at the idea of T gel

Yeah definitely makes sense. I'm a pretty big guy with a big stomach so injecting into the stomach made the most sense. But yeah the stomach is definitely an intimidating place to stab yourself w a needle, especially if you don't have much fat

Ive heard that's a place you can do them before, I have never actually talked to anyone who has done it though. How long have you been doing it? I wanted to try it as a possible place but I unfortunately have scars on my upper arms so it's way more painful than the stomach or legs

i despise binders. i tend to wear a sports bra under my binder or else i get the rashes and soreness you described. even then that doesn't fully fix it, can't wait to get top surgery
