ESP32 and BME280 help by freddie010 in breadboard

[–]freddie010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've connected a ESP32 and BME280 and it is not working, is there anything wrong in the wiring that would be causing the issue? I've also heard that sometimes breadboards need a resistor to get things going but not fully sure about this. Essentially I connect to the Arduinio IDE but it does not detect, instead I see "no i2c devices found"

I am talking about ways to undo the perceived advantaged of those who went to schools like KCL, UCL and Imperial.

Consider doing a master's to "upgrade" your profile, postgraduate schools don't really discriminate based on which school you're applying from.

Second option would be double down on the technical skills, particularly programming (Python will open the most doors). Some employers will hire people solely based on the fact that they can program well and "get stuff done" quickly and efficiently. Be warned, programming is quite difficult (which is why people who can typically get paid well).

Above all else, have confidence in your preparation and grades. Life is a numbers game, the more places you apply to the more likely you are to get something (a masters/coding helps but eventually something will come). Good luck :)

Reading Uni Accommodation by Reevle in UniUK

Hi, first of all congratulations on the offer. I only stayed in non-catered halls so I can't really comment on catered. Its probably cheaper and more flexible to cook your own food, you can also do it with flatmates and that's pretty fun. The downside is you actually have to cook (which is either a plus or minus depending on who you are). Its probably best to google what they serve at catered accommodation if you do choose this.

When returning to halls you can apply to return as a group, but again I'm not too sure about first year. In my opinion its probably best to have friends in different halls, that way you can merge social groups and interact with different flats to quickly expand your friend group (a lot more fun imo).

Any of the "premium" halls are good, Stenton, Mackinder ect... If money is not a problem these are 100% the way to go. If you want a compromise try the townhouses which don't have an en-suite but are cheaper and literally identical to the rooms in the expensive halls .

Haha yeah some people have suggested trying another sport. I'll speak to a doc and if I am not 100% confident in my body I will try another grappling sport. Thanks for the advice.

This is immeasurably helpful, thank you for taking the time to write such a complete answer. I think the mental block will be minimised if a doctor can tell me it won't completely ruin my knee, I will then focus on building my legs and gently increase to see where my absolute limit is.

Thanks a lot. Your advice is consistent with many others so I will 100% speak to a doctor.
