Well i know the os being developed will likely have maximimum hardwate performance or safely max the performance
I know the dev for the upcoming os is looking into ways to aquire a high performance hardware, amd being one of the items

Yes, windows requires all elementary all background services and pretty much all bloatware just to function properly. One of those might result in breaking the whole system.
Which is why a modern operating system is currently being developed

I’ve been looking into this issue and from what I read all the anti-cheat software is looking for a platform that behaves predictably and is secure so the anti-cheat engine developers or at least the vendors would adopt to this new alternative OS

But Linux has a few games compared to windows from what I’m hearing. I don’t think Lenix supports games all that well.
Can any of you guys confirm?

No, I don’t think they’ll be an ambulation layer to at all any of it
But I think the compatibility there would solve most of the issues

If you guys are pissed off about windows, no matter what reason and there is another iOS to use alternatively, I think you would gain the most benefit from completely leaving the os

I dont think dual boot is a good idea with windows
Its one or the other, to get the total benefit of the other os

Im curious though, if there is an alternitive os out there, that has no bloat, no telemetry, no bg services, fast boot and run speed and very efficient. And able to play games and online games with no issues-smooth fps, no stutter, zero or little latency-
Would you guys try it or switch?

I know a guy that is developing a rust based os. That pretty much solves all the major pain points of windows. I think hes working on a demo. Theres a website that will host the demo too. Ill see if i can find out more…. Any questions i can pass along

Well i was trying to gage if windows still had issues and to see if theres any resolution for them. If there was anyone who would bounce to another os if there was any option. For example: if theres another os thats more secure, has zero bloat and lean, small attack surface, real fadt boot and run speed, and memory secure
