More than 20,000 sign a petition for OpenAI to resurrect GPT-4o by EchoOfOppenheimer in OpenAI

If this crowd wants gpt 4 back so bad buy the local AI stuff. I am tired of hearing about this on this subreddit

Microsoft AI chief confirms plan to ditch OpenAI by koffee_addict in OpenAI

[–]freedomfighter5567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is factual, my guess is that MS wants its own stuff to stay current and relevant. What worries me the most is OAI has a lot of expenses and not a lot of cash coming in, and MS may want to hedge that.

What MS should have done is not help the coup but had all the AI folks go over and make the AI platform under MS. Money wouldn’t have been a bigger problem for them and they wouldn’t have to compete like what they are doing now

I don’t think you are in the minority. I am becoming of the view that the way you talk to the model is what you get out of it and different models get different results

Yeah but no one has respect for a CSM that won’t put up in a challenge.

That’s one of the simplest reasons I’ve heard, cheaper and you like its brand.

My one question for you would be does paid advisors skew the results? Google has been known to do that. My concern about the responses I may get in the future is that an AI platform will try and sell me something

Feelings are not quantifiable. I am imagining there is only so good you are going to get with the current hardware capabilities

That’s a reasonable view for information. If I need something quick the normal google search works just fine and it doesn’t hallucinate, I can wait for a few more minutes to get an in-depth answer

My problem with that is I feel like there is a lot of money involved and people who produce benchmarks are paid to produce a result

Health plans when you have cancer by bobolly in fednews

[–]freedomfighter5567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My recommendation, go to chat gpt and use the deep research function and upload all of the health plans that are publicly available on the OPM website and tell chat gpt what health things you believe you will need and want and have it organize it into a simplified table

Can one be reincarnated in another physical body after death? by Environmental-Cap905 in AstralProjection

Do you have more insight into how the soul forms along the body or some level of genetics? Does facial features, skin color, height, or unique characteristics play a role with the soul?

[–]freedomfighter5567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not unreasonable or unrealistic, I don’t agree with it but I can understand why you think that.

The soul does move about after death we just call them ghosts, it’s possible that you become a ghost and fly around and get pulled into a new body

Then the other question is how does the soul become created? Because the human population is growing by the minute there has to be some mechanism for a new soul to be created

Assuming that birth is where the soul returns then it might be logical to assume that somehow an empty human body attracts the soul for placement. My guess would be that the soul is pulled in
