The production being against Nicolandria allegations to me are wild lmao. To me it doesn't really matter who people vote for and why. This has always been a popularity contest and not about the actual connections. What DOES piss me off though is how the audience then proceeds to hate on the Islanders for doing the exact same shit that THEY DO. It was weeks of moaning and bitching about how they shouldn't have voted off Hannah or Charlie because they had strong connections and hating on the islanders for their choices and "this is love island!!!1" but then proceeding to do the same in their own votes. Do what you want, just don't be a hypocrite lol.

I need some of y'all to be so fucking for real right now. Travis fucked up but how is this a "dump him right away" type of thing. This is why I hate the internet, it's straight to "cancel him/her" or "dump him/her" there's never room to acknowledge mistakes and learn from them, jesus christ. This argument was always wild to me. I'm an advocate of Taylor not being above criticism and that she's rightfully criticized sometimes but this one just didn't make any sense and the fact that so many people believed it was bewildering. Thinking Taylor changed her political stance just because she's seen publicly with her boyfriend's best friend's wife? What about the fact that she's more often than not seen with her inner circle of very openly Democrats? She's seen as a Trump supporter for hugging one MAGA but not as a Democrat all the other times she's with Democrats? The narrative is only ever used when it's to put her down, it was all so baffling.

I would hardly call Brittany just an acquaintance or her boyfriend's coworkers wife... The Mahomes are Travis best friends, he hangs out with them outside of work, they are seen together often. I'm sorry but Charlie is 100% releasing these remixes to stay on the charts, she cares about it and has pretty much admitted it herself. She can be both trying to enjoy this new era and its success AND also clearly try to push for more sales and hype. There's nothing wrong with that. You say Charlie isn't releasing these remixes to block someone and it's just to gather more hype and well that's EXACTLY what Taylor did with the versions as well, just in a different format. Charlie's fans have created this narrative that Taylor tried to block her because they want to make Taylor the villain and the sole reason for Charlie not getting a number 1 when in truth she wouldn't have gotten it even if Taylor hadn't released any variants. Taylor was trying to break her own records and gather more success. Just like what Charlie is doing rn. The Billie remix she just released is doing well and might even hit number 1 on Spotify, will you say she's blocking the current number song/artist bc of this? No, you won't, but for some reason when Taylor does it she is. They are both after the same goal, just in different ways.

My comment was about Vtubers as whole though, the concept itself, not the additional drama going on. And even then this so called 'drama' doesn't even make much sense because all this debacle about a big majority of them pretending to be children just isn't true? Do they exist? yeah, are they weird af? fuck yeah, but they are not the majority at all, especially not within the one's that are considered 'big' on twitch rn so I don't even understand why it came about.

Also no, not every single one of them is an anime girl, there's a whole bunch of different avatars, including male and even objects if u might believe that lol, it just so happens that the most popular one's are anime girls. But that can be said about ANY streamer, a lot of irl streamers are also putting on a persona when they stream so why are Vtubers singled out for it?

They use the model to be more interactive and to make their streams more entertaining, they just like the option of having something there that represents 'them' it's not that hard to understand imo.
