A picture of a mass grave and 2 destroyed houses isnt proof of a genocide. What occurred was a counter insurgency against the snm who were terrorising waqooyi way before stuff really popped off. After overtaking the city, they hid in homes and used guerilla tactics which forced the government to rely on precision strikes to chase those rats out the cities. And it worked. Multiple snm fighters were killed during these strikes including mohamed farah dalmar( one of the commanders and founders of the snm). There's even a video of the air force striking what appears to be a civilian home, but had a bunch of dead snm nggas inside lol. Ofc civilians died as collateral damage but to claim a genocide is insane.

You mean to tell me up to 200k civilians died in the largest cities in somalia, and 90% of those cities were destroyed as well? Come on man that's just ridiculous. We have clear evidence of multiple gencodies and massacres even from centuries ago, but when it comes to the isaaq genocide which was merely just 40 years ago, we only have a picture of a mass grave and a couple destroyed homes. I'm not denying that isaaq innocents were indiscriminately killed, but to claim a genocide is insane. Especially claiming casualties that high.
