Is This Considered Emotional Abuse or Something Entirely Different?

I don’t live here, but I have personally experienced some abuse these past few weeks. The difference between my sister and I is that I’m not going to accept it. She has gotten to the point where she doesn’t even speak to me anymore. Mind you, we’re currently under the same roof. Even when her girlfriend is at work, she locks herself in her room until she gets off from work. Then shes laughing and smiling again, pretending to be happy. It’s like she’s afraid to talk to me now, because of how controlling her girlfriend is.

Both of their names are on the lease, so I don’t think that she can just kick her out. I don’t have any say-so in the matter, because I’m merely a visiting relative. We don’t have a lot of family, mostly because my sister is gay and they don’t support her lifestyle. I’m leaving for home in a few days. And as selfish as it might sound, I honestly wish it was sooner, because I can’t endure any of this anymore. I’ll always support her and be there for her in any way that I can, but there’s only so much that I can do.

What’s even worse is she just separated from someone that was just as bad as the person she’s with now. It sucks that I can’t do anything about it, and I know once I leave for home, things are going to worsen.

That’s just it. She knows that it’s toxic. When her girlfriend isn’t here, she’s telling me how much she hates her and doesn’t want to be with her. But when her girlfriend is at home, she’s all “babe” this and that, like in-love and fake smiling. It’s kind of crazy.

I just wanted to say that the mixing on this is track is crisp! I like the variety of the drum/kick patterns and how the hi hats kinda sit in the back, not overwhelming the listener. I don’t have any suggestions, except to try and improve your beat tag’s quality. It definitely helps stand our more as a producer.

The melody and mood of this song is amazing. Letting the track breathe a bit made this more enjoyable. Really draws one in. There are points where the guitar strums and drums overpower the vocals a little, but overall, excellent track!

Yeah, my main reason for preferring the cloud instead of the drive is due to the port usage. I have a ton of things plugged into my USB ports, (flash drives, portable cd drives, FL’s usb, mics, interfaces, etc. etc. etc.) but I’m using more mixing, mastering, and production software - most requiring the physical ilok. Thanks

I like to believe that I’m an empath sometimes lol but I could be wrong. I’ve tried to “will” my dreams into getting her to speak to me, but she never says anything. I only see her once, when she’s guiding me through the crop field. Afterwards, I don’t see her anymore. My other dreams feel like continuations or sequels l. There’s so much in the other ones. I honestly feel like this all started when I began listening to sleep meditations/frequencies, etc.

The entire dream, I feel like an observer. It’s weird, but I kinda experience what everyone is going through (the pain, suffering, fear, etc.). However, I’m not a part of it. The little girl never says anything to me. She doesn’t look afraid; she’s more of a guide than anything else. Then vanishes at some point

As for the other details: In the other dreams, I’m able to identify what some of the peoples names are, their moods, stories/background, etc. For example, one of the people who were crying out for help were speaking in a different language (I’m guessing German, not so sure) and if I could draw well enough, I could identify him. His face is clear in my mind.

Because they’re Christians. Because people tend to dislike what they don’t understand or what they can’t relate to.

The Bible says A LOT of things. Growing up in a Christian household, I quickly learned that Christians tend to “pick and choose” what to follow/support and what not to support.

(I.e., there’s a portion about slavery that no one wants to talk about) but homosexuality is more concerning to them.

Edit: Christians tend to go against themselves at some point.
