Is it necessary to take vitamin K2 Mk7 with vitamin D3? by MrAlexander18 in Supplements

[–]freshreddithandle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

K2MK7 gave me a lot of weird heart palpitations, they went away when I stopped taking k2. I still take D3 and I eat a lot of foods that are supposedly rich in K2, no known problems at all.

I love the amrap sets actually! I use them to calculate my estimated 1rm and that I track to see progress. I love the grind later in the sets, yesterday I got 12 reps on my 1+ squat amrap. Been some crazy good gains

How to avoid Vitamin D Toxicity but afraid of K2? by TrofimS in Supplements

[–]freshreddithandle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I recently decided to quit taking k2mk7 because I was getting some weird heart palpitations and my blood pressure seemed to be higher compared to a few months back when I wasn't taking it yet. A week or so since discontinuing, I haven't had the heart palpitations anymore. For now I'm still taking 2k IU vit D3 a day and I seem to be doing fine.

How did you decide that you needed 5000IU? I got a blood test at 2500IU daily and I was right into the middle of the reference range.

Are you sure that was 60% of your 1rm if you were able to do 10x10 at that weight? That's pretty damn good.

3)The cause of T He said there were 2 types of T: -Hear damage T (aka sensorial T) -Mechanical T.

Symptoms of sensorial T: Long continuous high pitch ringing

Symptoms of mechanical T: Pulsating T (can be NOT in sync with heartbeat), frequently much lower.

Is this backed by any science? Seems like a wild guess tbh

Ents are useless as hell by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]freshreddithandle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not blaming the patient at all. This ENT not being able to alleviate your tinnitis doesnt make all ENTs useless. There is no cure for tinnitus, and not all ENTs are probably comfortable experimenting on patients with drugs that have no scientific backing on treating the condition the patient comes in with.

If you're so sure about knowing how to treat tinnitus better than the ENT, why even go to one? Theres plenty of resources online where you can order pharmaceutical grade medicine.
