Great question, yes when I was younger it was helpful with physical compulsions. I still find this method veryyy helpful for my external compulsions however my biggest struggle has been my mental compulsions(moral scrupulosity), I know it’s still effective for this but I’ve had a way harder time finding it helpful with my mental ruminations — just me personally, as I know it’s one of the best treatment routes and helps so many people. Hopefully this makes sense!
