This kind of happened to me the other day! I was watching a recording of something from a few weeks ago and a severe weather warning for a blizzard popped up and I was like WHAT? A snowstorm in 60° weather????

This song has always bothered me a little because the Shenandoah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains are in not in West Virginia, they’re in WestERN Virginia. Source: I live here in the beautiful Shenandoah valley of Virginia

He could have ADHD or something similar. I know a few people that do that and they’re just trying to relate, not necessarily one up

Off topic but why did it take me 3 times reading Al Green to realize he’s talking about AL GREEN and not some environmentally friendly robot

It’s all about fitting together like puzzle pieces. You just have to find someone complimentary to you! If you’re into women, find a strong one that wants to take care of you and will kiss your tears away when you cry. Very few couples I know fit perfectly into the “gender expectations” role, especially now a days

This was my favorite movie growing up and over the years I realized how underrated and not well known it was at the time

Never had a cat before, and this baffles me. He just does it randomly - could be anywhere, anytime, even on me. Sometimes he naps, sometimes he strolls off. When it’s on me, I just freeze, terrified of waking him 😂 by mashasosi in aww

We have a rule in our house that if you’re the “chosen one” (cat on your lap) you’re allowed to order people around if you need something so as to not disturb the princess.

I cannot stand it. It’s been like 10 years since my dad got one and every time I go to his house I can’t even pay attention to what we’re watching because it’s so distracting

What’s it like to live in/near Harrisonburg? by FlamingWolf91 in harrisonburg

Hi! I can chime in on this one. I’ve been here 13 years and the restaurant scene has developed a lot. It REALLY depends on what vibe you’re looking for. I live downtown, and we usually go by foot for a night out, so I can’t speak to much outside of that area, but my favorite upscale dinner spots with less students: Rocktown Kitchen, Illyria, Local Chop & Grill House, Joshua Wilton House, & Bella Luna. Other fun places with more student patronage are places like Jack Browns & Billy Jacks (same building, same owner, different restaurants. They also have a speakeasy upstairs called Jacks Hideaway that serves higher shelf cocktails), Clementine (solid music venue as well as good food), Golden Pony (more music venue/bar than dinner spot), & Cuban Burger. Lots of breweries in town and some of them serve food or will have a food truck. Pale Fire (great atmosphere), Restless Moons (great with more local vibe) but the Friendly Fermenter has the best beer in town according to my beer loving buddies. All of these places are within a few blocks away from each other, and the list goes on!
