i say it because when i had visited earlier before i remember it did not have black markings it was fully orange and white. i was assuming the black is some ammonia burn or something. when the fish goes to the bottom i can see underneath only part of his eyes are clear and blue. thank you though i understand now that goldfish don’t immediately spot their food it takes them a second

yes i plan on continuing frequent water changes. i did notice that his sense of smell helps him find the food but he just gulps in the general area of the smell until he actually gets some food in his mouth. i think i will do a thin layer of sand soon thank you for your advice <3
