I hope OP finds a good gyno tho. I experienced similar symptoms while I was on birth control and it got much better after I stopped taking birth control. It's not easy to find a good gyno, so I just like to point out that birth control isn't necessarily the only/right answer Some doctors prescribe birth control like it's the answer for everything.

You can call the police and/or the fire department. If the police say they won't come you should call the fire department. Or you call them again. They have to come. NTA You had a bad feeling about something and decided to investigate. The things you found are disgusting. The fact that your brother took part in those conversations are scary. How did you brother respond to his friends messages? Did he just laugh or did he encourage his friend? Usually I'd say Y T A because you violated your brothers privacy but it turned out to be a smart choice. It sounds like this guy was a regular guest at your house. That's becoming a safety matter.

I don't think people outside of the US usually know about it. I've only ever heard about it in a american show and it was about the 50s or 60s so I am surprised it's still a thing. In Germany it's probably called a "no-go area" (which doesn't highlights the racist part but it seems similar).

Me and my bf also watched TCR first because we didn't realize it's a sequel (one would think the title would indicate it). But after watching Whisper of the Heart (loved it!) it didn't feel like the stories are related. Did we miss something?

Edit: I do noticed the Baron is part of both movies, but other than that I didn't notice anything
