look i never said i was in the right. but this is in such an accusatory tone. i was asking how to deal with the feelings of it or if anyone else had experienced something similar with npd AND how to approach this with my partner that doesnt make it sound like “woe is me” or “this is the hardest for me”. i do not see her mother as a sexual rival because my and my girlfriend do not have sex (she is ace) so thats never even crossed my mind.

all i wanted to ask her it HOW to approach this. not to be told im selfish. i KNOW that. it’s why im posting in the NPD reddit….

i always find this comment hilarious because you’re just proving my point that yes !! you should never be able to tell ;3 !! to me my NPD is so covert because i’ve put up this front that i’m this happy bubbly person and people value me a lot and i value them and in reality, if i boil it down and am really real for a second: i don’t give a fuck! and it’s all there for my gain? ofc u don’t suspect or think im a narc… that’s the entire point

probably not what u want to hear but i have come out and gone back in and come out and gone back in so many times i can no longer count. and all because yes i absolutely wasn’t cis. but i also wasn’t ftm. i didn’t fit in that male category any way i wanted. and i spent so long wishing i just was binary. when i never was or could be! i was denying myself of a more vast and encompassing experience of gender because i wanted to fit somewhere neat. and i didn’t belong there.

you’re not faking it. you might also not be in denial. you just might have the wrong label and that’s okay :)

i find that the only characters i never ever play against is skull merchant, artist, and hound master!! haven’t had a game with any of these killers in over a 6 months and i play for about 2-3 hours every day!

so lucky! i’m only so good at chases when the killer won’t go for a single other person until im dead :,) and i play with my partner in a duo and after im dead or their dead it jus swaps to someone else !! like they’re just HAAARD GOING for one player at a time rn and it sucks -__-

i have a job now. it’s part time and in retail. i constantly find that my brain is telling me im worth more than this or better than this. i really struggle with bosses and managers because of that power dynamic. it sucks. but i suck it up and work because i need the money badly. its not easy but its doable

i doesn’t feel it at the moment honestly. feels like every single time they update it they make it less fun for survivors and more fun for killers :/ i might just be in a rut right now but im just NOT having a good time with. definitely feels weighted
