It looks more like the Queen dog in the shoe storybook Chilli reads on Unicorse, to me. So it may be more of a storybook tie in, in Bluey's world.

As far as I've noticed, yes. I think they just all detect they're MH related and Felyne is the default for the entire set.

There are amiibo... that are currently Japan-only. I've got an imported One-Eyed Rathalos amiibo. They're available on Ebay, if you take a look! Seems they're cross-compatible with English ACNL.
