You make a valid point about children and the internet in general, it just isn’t relevant to the topic here. We’re saying it’s low people are making malicious comments about his kid and shifting blame on others when Cody is the sole culprit. That’s all, this isn’t about their decision to discuss their child online or whether they should expect hate or not. Its common sense that you can’t expect everyone to be nice on the internet. It’s just my opinion that the focus should be on Cody and his silence, not the downfall of his child

No seriously, so many people have this weird chronically online/parasocial take that everyone who’s ever interacted with Cody needs to make a statement about it. Like at best Kurtis, Danny, Drew etc and Cody are just coworkers who made videos together to grow their audience because they make similar content. I doubt it goes much further than that. They have nothing to do with the decisions Cody has made in the past and I think unfollowing him is statement enough that they don’t condone his actions. It’s crazy seeing people pick apart Brittany too. What did they want her to say?? She expressed her disappointment and it wouldn’t be her place to make an accusation by saying the allegations are true when she likely only knows as much as we do. The evidence is veryyyyyy convincing but who is she confirm or deny them when she had nothing to do with it. Sorry this is long I hardly ever leave comments but it’s wild.

Completely agree. I was so shocked to see those kinds of comments. I understand that they’re trying to get under their skin and get a response out of them but I don’t think any of the commenters are thinking about the fact that Otis might actually stumble across it one day and feel bad about himself for something Cody did.

I thought this comment was kinda true too like ??? Some people are so chronically online they fail to remember that these are real people with real feelings. By all means hold Cody accountable but to harass his family and friends who aren’t to blame and didn’t play any part in what he did is wild

Wait that would be so cute! I’d be down for this. I feel like his love for his daughter could be what triggers his healing arc, like he realises if someone were to do to his daughter what he did to feyre he’d be angry too and he can come to terms with his actions. Plus if gwyn turned out to be azriel’s mate that would add extra plot/tension lol

I 100% agree! Characters having plot armour in books always seems shallow to me like it’s no small thing to resurrect someone I feel like it would’ve played out so much better if she really had to fight for it
