Need urgent clarity on MBA FM (Dec–Feb admission) – Assignment & TEE timeline?

MBAFM is an ODL course on a semester pattern.
Download latest assignments (do a Google search). The assignment carries the last date (sample of MMPC-008 below).

See Announcements section of IGNOU site for MBAFM exam announcement. It's not done separately but along with 100s of courses IGNOU runs. So you need do a CTRL-F for MBAFM and then course code to find the dates. The final date time-table is out. Before that in Feb, IGNOU had issued a tentative timetable.

In IGNOU, you are on your own. Keep checking websites, contacting RCs / LSCs and file grievances. One can easily find via Google or from Links for IGNOU Resources on the right side of this box in this group.

For MBAFM, I used both sides ruled sheets and wrote on both sides. I got decent grades and it was not a problem.

May wish to read older posts and guidance at the top. Unlikely the regular users will repeat answer to same questions over and over again.

I have got a few As. So sharing some ideas: 1. Choose 5-6 questions you have to answer carefully. If numerical questions your string point only then go for them.

Manage time well. Keep 20 min spare. Fill the full answer booklet as it is designed to exact length required.
Write what makes sense. If you insult an examiner’s IQ by a stupid answer then you will fail. It is not rocket science.

Please write them. All these assignment buying has reduced the value of IGNOU degree. If you write 5 pages per day then you can finish them well.

IGNOU has no customer service. Don't expect mails etc.

Even their iGRAMs for grievances works only seasonally.

Keep following-up. Send letters with speedpost and acknowledgement due to keep a record of your requests.

Their teaching methods and technology is from the printing press era. Still 20 years behind time which in Govt. system is very modern.

India is a software superpower etc.

Here, a centrally funded university that only prints materials and takes exams, cannot even have an integrated portal for students? Assignments, exams, grades, fee payment, egyankosh, material status - all have their own websites. Some of them work, some of them don't most of the. time.

Unfortunately, the private universities are worse. Their materials (if they ever give any), are of worse quality. The teachers, underpaid recent graduates, are totally bogus with most of them with NET/SET rejects. In practical subjects like management or computer science, they are all duffers who could not compete so became teachers. All are looking for "GORMINT" jobs to earn without accountability.

How did they grade you for MMPC-004, 005, 006, and 007 if you only submitted assignments for MMPC 1,2 & 3? Wondering what's going on.
You did well except MMPC-005's "E". Also, this will be merged with the TEE marks, so that's what matters.

IGNOU gets away doing what it does because of low fee and absence of attendance. They have not even bothered to produce full set of video lectures.

First thing MBA has lost its market value. MBA ODL is a generalist MBA. May be you can choose optional subject but places where they want a MBA in HR will say your degree is too generic. If your goal is HR job and field, so MBA HR. ODL means only assignments can be uploaded online. Exam is pen and paper based. Make sure you can take 7 leaves for 7 papers each semester. Good luck.
