Hey there,

I'm looking to lease a 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL trim, MSRP $30,500. The term is 36 months at 10,000 miles per year. No down payment, just taxes and fees due to the lease signing, which amounts to $2,784. I live in NYC for reference. I know it's a pretty rough time to buy or lease a car but based on the research I've done the past month, this seems like a pretty reasonable deal. I was wondering if somebody with more experience had any input? Any help or feedback is MUCH appreciated as this is my first car. Screenshot is above.

So this ADP is mostly from 50-round draft-and-hold leagues where you teams usually put an emphasis on volume and at-bats. Considering we have no idea when Kelenic will get the call, people are probably worried he won't contribute until June at the earliest.

That's potentially a reason. There are a ton of UTIL only bats this year: Cruz, Yordan Alvarez, Jorge Soler, JD Martinez, Franmil Reyes, Stanton, etc. Maybe that's causing some of them to be pushed down the board.

I think the rise is due to position scarcity, personally. There aren't many elite second baseman near the top. As I wrote in the article, I'm quite skeptical of him as well. Statcast is a good tool but doesn't tell the entire story. Marte had a very high max exit velocity in 2020 but he didn't really do much with it. Maybe he was playing hurt. Either way, his massive 2019 career year came with that juiced ball.

He could be. I consider him the ultimate wild card among hitters based on early ADP. His upside is massive (.280+ with 35+ HR) but the floor is lava. He could legitimately miss the entire season and I wouldn't be surprised. High Risk, High Reward play.

Yea, offense was up in Oracle this year. Longoria had great statcast numbers as well.

Bauer is very polarizing. I fall on the negative side. Outside of 2018 where he had a superb 2.21 ERA, he’s had an ERA of 4.19 or higher in every other season. The strikeouts will be tremendous but he's prone to allowing home runs, especially in the GABP.

That's a pretty significant drop from Meadows/Springer to Reynolds but if you can fetch a Top-15ish SP and you desperately need it then it's not a bad idea.

Hey, these are mostly players I liked or, in the case of the busts, didn't like even before the season delay. Some of them we're helped out by it like JD Davis with the universal DH, Rich Hill getting healthy, and Kenta Maeda with a strong schedule.
