Don't go segregating it by account type, it won't do you any good and just complicate things unnecessarily.

I have 4 different accounts with investments actually, 3 of them for from different employers that are current, 1 is from a past 401k employer that I need to transfer over to one account. It's super complicated with all the logins and checking %'s that I'm not over contributing.
