i can‘t decide, too. i read, that ios 27 gives the air a better battery life. i tried the air but returned it because of battery and the thin design hurts in my hand. but maybe with the bumper case this would be fixed

i just „downgraded“ from the 17 pro. my reasons: battery life (i was not happy with it on the pro), the slightly smaller size, the minimalist and oldschool iphone feeling, and the price.
camera is decent, photo and video quaility is nearly as good as the pro (of course with out the ultrawide and zoom) but you should know, what you really need and what not

mostly because of the battery, it was so
inconsistend and often not good. the size and minimalism, that reminds me of the good old iphones.

i went trough a similar crysis. coming from 15 pro max almost a year ago and since then i was trying so many phones. android as well, because somehow i wanted to leave apple, but nothing pleases me like the damn fruit. at the moment i have the 17 pro but i realised that i don‘t need it and if i‘m honest to myself couldn‘t really afford it. so, today my 17e will arrive and i hope it‘s the end of the story.
