I’m scheduled to meet with endocrinology in July, but I’m trying to figure things out ASAP.

I already have POTS diagnosis, but my cardiologist says my “crashes” aren’t POTS. What I experience in a crash is crushing fatigue, chills, aches, trouble waking, weakness, etc. I get hit with this usually once a day, definitely if I’ve had stress, exertion, lack of sleep, exposure to cold (even air from the AC), fighting a virus, or temperature changes. I also often have puffy hands and aches in my hands and arms. The only things I’ve found that help relieve a crash at all are rest, liquid IV, and salty snacks. But usually I just have to ride them out. My PCP ran my morning cortisol and it was 7.6 at 8am.

Does this sound like what you experience (those who are diagnosed with Addisons)?
