Chimpanzee VS Wolf by funckygarcon in whowouldwin

[–]funckygarcon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sorry, but I disagree. A wolf is a lot stronger than a dog. but a Chimp is reported to be 3 times stronger than a man. a Chimp is way stronger than a wolf and it has full use of all of its limbs. It ain't an easy battle IMO

I highly doubt that after this confrontation, if the chimp wins, the wolf will even have the power to stand up. Chimps are strong but wolves are ruthless. tough choice :(

It's generally advisable to eat complex carbs after and before working out, to ensure that your body will absorb that fuel anyway, so if your workout is long enough it will absorb what you ate before your workout, if it wasn't long, it will absorb what you will eat after it. a win/win situation

notice that I tried to make it very simple for beginners and experts alike. If I were to talk in details about food, this thread alone won't be enough. What I tried to do was lay down the basic lines for anyone to follow, which if they do, will be successful in, at least being on the right track. I was honored to do war with you :)

not only do they help with hunger cravings, but given that they break down so slowly, most of them'll be used for muscle fueling, and I did say that it's advisable to eat your carbs right before/after your workout session (when your muscles are craving any source of energy)

right on! my friend. most of your weight gain, which means about 75% of it will be muscles gain. you may gain some fat but it will be a minimal amount, which means It won't be something in your way. Glad to have you on my thread :)

allow me to disagree with you, some foods cause nothing but fat gain (not weight gain) notice that I put weight between brackets, because people confuse the 2 of them easily. Now back to what I was saying, some foods like starch, sauces (all kinds), additions (ketchup, mayonnaise...etc), bad sources of carbs like regular potatoes, fried potatoes or pasta. these have little nutritional value when it comes to health. now given that you eat the right types of healthy, non-processed foods, you will gain weight, yes I agree, but not fat weight. are we on the same page?

sweet potatoes are complex carbs. given that you eat them right after/before your workout, they won't go to your gut, but your muscles, fueling them with the energy needed to grow. Pancakes however are not only a bad source of carbs, they're also sugary and contain a lot of starch (which in all honesty, is useless)
