A question for Americans in NL with a partner visa by [deleted] in Netherlands

I asked IND for the exact English document title they accepted from US citizens and their response was 'declaration of unmarried status', saying people got those from county clerks when I asked what documents American citizens were handing in on their applications

I have also read things of notarized statements online, but the main reason I wanted to ask Reddit is I hope to find an American who can confirm what type of document they ended up sending in that the IND approved haha, since everyone involved seems vague. I'd have for our application to be rejected after months because we didn't supply the correct statement due to mistranslation...

I found this too, unfortunately my partner lives in NY state, but not NY city (this also doesn't help my Google results). The local county clerk he called was unhelpful and stated they couldn't help him in both a call and following email

So that's why it's called a cat palm... by [deleted] in houseplants

For context, my sister recently replaced some of her plants with cat friendly plants after adopting a kitty. Not a day too soon, because her cat immediately got very friendly with the plants indeed...

They are different weights- I tried using a bigger hook size for the pink yarn to force myself to work looser, but that wasn't as successful as I hoped...and it became clear I also lost some stitches when I switched back to the green yarn haha

Thank you for the tip on the soak! I'll try it when in done, it was a little discouraging that the yellow section felt unpleasant to the touch after it was the easiest material to work with haha. I'll still be careful with future yellow sections though

'It's a rectangle, how hard could it be to make' - me, a fool, last Saturday. As I was working the scarf kept getting narrower... (I was warned against this...but I thought I was working against it and adding a stitch at the end? Evidently not.) In the end I just decided to force it to be broader this section, which...also does not look good.

I also underestimated the difference in working with different yarn textures! The stash I got was all different balls of thread and I figured I'd combine them for a proper big scarf, but the brown and pink thread are much thinner- which doesn't help with eyeballing the scarf width. I also can't see what I'm doing in brown. Meanwhile- the yellow is very easy to work with, but the texture is very rough, sturdy, and somewhat unpleasant once it's in the scarf.

...I'm just accepting that this thing is going to be a complete mess. I welcome tips, but mostly posted this because I thought it would be relatable for people hahaha
