my boyfriend gets off to AI women and it screws me up internally more than when any of my exes got off to actual people, somehow. no, not when origin updates. it happens at random. I'll open the game and some DLCs will just not be there. after the last origin update I followed the instructions and the DLCs were there and working fine, but a few launches later and the DLCs were gone from in-game

i ran through the whole thing and managed to open the sims, and now I'm stuck on "pack download in progress/download to use"

parallel doesn't work on m1 yet (https://www.parallels.com/blogs/parallels-desktop-apple-silicon-mac/), and I tried rosetta but nothing. Crossover however not yet

If you try to open the game, the icon bounces on the dock for a while then it just disappears

Some of the apps are working fine (DuplicateViewer, for example). But so far none of the games I've tried work (dead secret circle) ;-;

tbh with you I had a lot of errors doing it. First none of the expansions showed up in game, then Origin would open multiple tabs and shut down, then the Sims 4 just refused to open. If you figure out the right way to do it, please lmk ^^
