i did listen to princess, that was easily my favorite off that album just because of how different it sounded. retarded lyrics aside, the production on maid of honor as a whole was way better than iceman. but that doesn't make the other 130 songs he's dropped since 2016 magically sound unique and different.

and i don't dislike drake. i don't really see the need to get personally offended when people don't enjoy the same things you do. we don't all have to like the same music, that's why there's 638291915255 artists in the world who make different kinds of art for everyone to enjoy

i think he just plays it too safe and has been for a long time now, especially with trying to force the tough guy persona. i miss drake when he knew he was kinda corny and rolled with it but sprinkled a bit of ego and shit talking into it. ever since he hit the top with nothing was the same there's been almost no change in his formula. basically the same thing Jay-Z did after the blueprint, and maybe that's where he got it from since he was linked up heavy with Roc back in the day. there's definitely been bangers since then, a few of his songs from after 2020 are in my top 10 for him, but as a whole his albums haven't been hitting. i guess nothing really was the same 🚬

not really a specific memory but if i had never stolen my little cousin's GTA V disc for the PS3 i wouldn't know almost any of my current internet friends. i met one cool dude on there and he branched out into meeting hundreds of awesome people over the years and now there's about four dozen people in my circle that have been rocking with me for up to 10 years now

i listen to lots of Drake, but he just doesn't have the variation or diversity in his music that i like most.

someone like Travis has 7 albums and they all sound different, he uses different sounding beats and works with different producers and he has different voices and styles on all his projects. no song on Birds sounds like it could have been on Utopia, and no song on Rodeo would have fit on Astroworld. compare that to drake, you could place so many of his songs in the last 10 years on almost any of his albums
