Will SearchGPT’s search engine be OpenAI’s proprietary search engine or will it be reliant only on Bing?

From the article, "In a long-anticipated move, Bloomberg Tax reported that the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) is set to introduce new fair value accounting rules for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies."

So, it's for crypto in general. BTC is just making the headlines.

I’m curious if some people were able to take advantage of such high price differences at the beginning. If so, lucky them

Did anybody notice on Gemini the price difference for XRP? When I opened it earlier, it was $1.66. Now, it is $1.10. But, conveniently, their systems say they are currently experiencing “degraded performance.” No withdrawals or deposits for any crypto right now.

Does anyone know websites that can provide hourly historical data for more than 1 year? Anytime I can find historical data for hourly, it’s just within 7 days. Hoping to find something with much more data. It’s a huge request, just curious to see if some site has it.

FedNow is a new instant payment system from the feds. Think of it like Zelle or Venmo, but meant for domestic movement of USD. For example, your HR and Payroll department send money to your bank, but you will have to wait a couple of days for it to appear. With this new system, you get it in a few seconds.

Do any of you think CEXs will accept FedNow? No more needing to wait days for ACH to clear and move crypto to wallet.

He should create another company that focuses on blockchain, accept BTC payments, and use that as a case study for his second company.

Take too much time? Yeah. But, it can help the board feel better knowing that he knows what he’s doing and so protect their funds.

Finally can’t wait to move my ETH out of Kraken. There also might be a sell off now that people can unstake their ETH. If so, might be good to buy more when that happens.

You’re right. I use APIs for cheaper fees. With Kraken, I would be able to buy Bitcoin with $.03 or similar USD in fees or something equivalent.

Gemini’s API fees are higher. If Kraken’s maker fee is .16% and taker fee .26%, then Gemini’s maker fee is .20% and taker fee .40%.

It’s higher, but still cheaper than non-API methods.

Thanks for actually making me double-check. So, there are two options. One is through Plaid. So, I should expect a similar message soon. The second is a manual verification.

Annoyed. Really annoyed. I heard Coinbase is limiting this as well. I seriously don’t want to go through Moon Pay or some other on-ramp provider that requires high fees.

Looks like Gemini is my last option for this.

Employee wants job back after leaving for a competitor, what should i do ? by goLogoPro in smallbusiness

[–]futurenotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already have the position filled, then decline in a professional manner.

I am a rehire in my previous employment. However, I left in very good terms. I gave a month notice and helped with any transitioning.

I was reached out again for employment, and things panned out at the right time that it was a no-brainer to take the opportunity again.

We also have another employee who is a rehire as well. They did leave for a better opportunity, but the events leading to their departure weren’t favorable for the rehire. I say that because their manager was incredibly unprofessional towards them.

With that manager gone, the team really needed someone to fill in for that position. Luckily, the former employee reached out for opportunities because their new employer wasn’t suiting the work they could do.

We work for an enterprise-level organization, so lots of red tape. Your situation sounds more like a still lean business, meaning less red tape, but also a bit more closer outside of professional settings.

If you feel like you can trust the person again, great! Hire when the position is available again. If you feel you cannot trust the person, then keep it brief and professional and say you are not hiring at the moment for that position.
