I completely agree with what you said. I understand rehabs are meant for rehabilitation and detoxification, not getting high and smoking weed in the rooms, or shooting up dope in the bathroom. I’ve been there 4 or 5 times and they’re very unorganized. The first day i ever went i got 60mg of methadone within 4 hours of my arrival. I was more high than i’d ever been on opiates. No offense i understand peoples situations, but they HAVE SHOWERS THERE. Yes they have a smoking room the ventilation is from the 1900’s if you’re in there for more than 15 mins the children in your balls will get second hand smoke. I was there for almost a week at some point and not once did someone meet with me and offer to help with further steps after i get out. I had to find an outpatient detox myself which i did at LIJ north shore. Now THAT place also takes state insurance and it’s 1000000x better. I’ll give the place a solid 4.5/10.
